свое «стори». Может кто еще рискнет написать, хотя бы на русском…

My name
is Liudmila Beloglazova and I work
for «WolgaAeroTelecom». WolgaAeroTelecom provides the
whole range of telecommunication services for a territory of the airport of Samara,
Russia.
This determines the basic specifics of WolgaAeroTelecom tasks, namely,
to provide our large business partners («International Airport of
Samara» and different airlines)
with high-quality communications. I’m a general director deputy
with respocibilities of day to day management and total control of
company activities.
I am a graduate of the
Presidential Managers’ Training Program in Samara in 2002. After this
program I’ve tried to use great
opportunities to take part in one of foreigne training program for
managers. And I can say that I was very lucky to be selected by the MTP
Programme to take part in the internship during 3 month from September
to December 2004 in
Sweden!
I should realized a number of reason of this happy case:
1.
General director of my home company was
interested in encreasing of my qualification and company had real tasks to reach new level
of work through introduction with Europe
standards and project management experience .
2.
I had a great motivation to take part in this
internship and concrete project plan of my internship with real
objectives.
3.
Representatives of MTP Programme in Sweden
have done all their best to find a host company for me with the similar
profile.
Representatives of MTP
Programme offered me «Netcom Consultants», a leading specialist
telecommunication consaltancy with truly global experience and reach,
delivering technical and commercial solutions for operators and
manufacturers. This company has three offices worldwide and it has
experience of working in over 100 countries with leading
telecommunication companies.
Before internship General
Director and Partner of “Netcom Consultants” defined with me the scope
of my future work and project plan. I want to underline the importance
of this programme stage, because in my opinion it defined success of my
internship. I knew that this company is what I needed and we had found
common objectives before I arrived.
During my internship “Netcom Consultants” had a project with the
Swedish Civil Aviation Administration Luftfartsvercet on hand. And they
decided to involve me in this project as consultant. My assignment was
defined marketable service products and operating actors that utilize
LFV’s wireless LAN infrastructure at Arlanda Airport. I worked in the project team and my
responsibilities included the parts of the Business Opportunity Identification, Service Portfolio
Strategy and Feasibility Study phases of the project.
I’ve gone through Netcom service launch process and learnt the
most important steps how to take business opportunity to launch new
telecom service. I gained deeper knowledge of first step in the launch
process, the Feasibility study, is carried through.
The experience
exchange and studying the management style of “Netcom Consultants” was
performed by me in the following way:
General management:
- Getting
acquainted with corporate culture and management style
- Analyzing
organization structure and business processes
Project
Management:
- Getting
acquainted with Basic Project Management Skills of Netcom Consultants
- Studying
process project planning and project definition
- Getting
acquainted with project phases and execution the first phase – prestudy
- Risk
Analysis: from Risk Management Planning to Risk Monitoring and Control
What follows up
from all this circumstances?
Experience and introduction with project oriented consulting
company helps me to implement changes into my Home Company ’ s activities:
- “preparation and start up of the project should be more
through process
- ¨ the
organizational structure should be more decentralized and
flexible, with greater responsibilities given to individuals. The
responsibilities and independence among the top-managers should be
reasonably distributed
- ¨based on
the idea that the individual is both willing and able to do a good
job start to lead employees through the principles of cooperation
and agreement
The first task is getting top
managers acquainted with foreign system of management and project
management, with European corporate culture, skills and tools.
Experience of my practical work, product research
and project definition, will be applied in the same project in Russia.
We are planning to launch wireless LAN for mobile passengers at the
territory around the airport
of Samara.
Unfortunatelly My home and host companies’ objectives do not
coincide, but exchange of experience in project launch between our companies started during my internship
in “Netcom Consultants” will go on after I come back home there are
some managerial tools and methods in Project Management that both
companies can use in their practice.
The deep
